New Vision Surgical Center occupies over 7,000 square feet of the state-of-the art, 19,000 square foot New Vision Eye Center facility. Our location is convenient for our patients, being directly across from Indian River Medical Center, with quiet access and egress. It was designed by architect Mike Gordon of Gordon & Associates, who has designed over 400 ambulatory surgical centers. We have invested in the most advanced surgical technology available to offer the highest quality of care. Our Center is licensed by the State of Florida and accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC), with Medicare Deemed Status. This certification means that we have met nationally recognized standards for quality of care.
The Center is devoted entirely to ophthalmology. Our experienced surgeons, nurse anesthetists, registered nurses, and surgical ophthalmic technicians have worked together for well over a decade. It takes teamwork to perform our mission of providing excellence in eye care. We have a well trained, efficient staff, with their main focus on patient safety and patient satisfaction. We provide our patients with the total surgical experience, beginning with the surgical consultation, pre-operative evaluation, and ending with their surgery. All follow-up care is provided by our board certified ophthalmologists at the same location.
At our center, we provide:
• Cataract extraction with intraocular lens implantation, utilizing single focus, monovision,
near vision, and astigmatism correcting lens options.
• Glaucoma filtering procedures.
• Laser surgery for treatment of glaucoma, retina, and diabetes.
• Functional and cosmetic eyelid surgery.
New Vision Surgical Center's focus is in the care of their patients, namely: safety, efficiency, technology and the overall quality of the patient experience
