Marvin I. Gordon, M.D. joined New Vision Eye Center in January of 2023. He is a fellowship trained comprehensive ophthalmologist with extensive training in the medical and surgical treatment of eye diseases with particular interest in glaucoma treatment and custom cataract surgery. He provides advanced surgical techniques and laser treatments to minimize patient discomfort, accelerate healing, and maximize long-term outcomes.
Dr. Gordon’s six years of post-graduate training included a fellowship in comprehensive ophthalmology at Jules Stein Eye Institute at the University of California, Los Angeles, which he completed in 2004, and an ophthalmology residency at Brooklyn Jewish Hospital at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, completed in 2003. Prior, he interned at Tucson Hospitals Medical Education Program, affiliated with the University of Arizona School of Medicine, emphasizing transitional medicine. He attended medical school at The University of California, San Diego School of Medicine and received his undergraduate degree from The University of California, Irvine School of Biological Sciences.
Dr. Gordon is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO).
